«Gogol.Vechera" - a play in the genre of "soundrama" core stage action which is a synthesis of drama and music. A specially created studio SounDrama music for the play is based on classical and ethnic musical structures, as well as opera and rock music.
Action Performance is divided into four seasons and represented, respectively, four "paintings" based on the "Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka NV Gogol, with shared associations, stories of love and relationships. These associations are transferred through music - the ritual cycles (folk) and classical music (works by Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky), and and other scenic, staging techniques. In addition to Gogol's original text, transformed into a mock Irina Lychagin, in the performance involved traditional Ukrainian folk music.
In September 2007, viewers will be presented to the first part of soundrama Gogol.
